Participation in Environmental Initiatives

In 2008, the Environmental Protection Department of Hong Kong and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong jointly launched the Guangdong-Hong Kong Cleaner Production Partnership Programme. Through funding support and technology promotion initiatives, the programme encourages Hong Kong-invested enterprises to adopt cleaner production technologies and operational practices, improving regional environmental quality.

The Hong Kong SAR Government plans to allocate an additional HK$100 million to extend the programme for another two years until 30 June 2027. As a long-established Hong Kong-invested enterprise in the industry, Tai Hing Nylon Filament Products Co., Ltd. actively participates in the initiative. We fully align with Hong Kong’s environmental standards, embed cleaner production concepts across all production processes, uphold the essence of Hong Kong quality, and fulfill the social responsibilities of a Hong Kong-invested enterprise.

Energy Conservation & Consumption Reduction

To cut energy consumption, our workshops adopt water-cooled air conditioners, thermal insulation coatings, barrel infrared heating systems and other energy-saving solutions. These measures lower energy usage while complying with Hong Kong’s environmental and energy-saving benchmarks, embodying our green manufacturing philosophy.

Wastewater Discharge Control

We attach great importance to wastewater treatment and adhere to Hong Kong’s strict sewage discharge regulations. We deploy professional facilities including biochemical systems, ultrafiltration membranes, reverse osmosis and ion exchange equipment to effectively purify wastewater and ensure discharge compliance.

To further enhance environmental performance, we are evaluating the adoption of waste liquid recycling machines to continuously optimize water treatment and fully meet Hong Kong environmental standards.

Solid Waste Reduction

Following Hong Kong environmental criteria, we are exploring sludge drying technology to reduce sludge generation at the source, promoting the reduction and harmless disposal of solid waste, and demonstrating our environmental commitment as a Hong Kong-invested enterprise.

Air Pollution Abatement

In strict adherence to Hong Kong air pollution regulations, we take multi-pronged action to curb harmful emissions: upgrading and deploying exhaust gas treatment equipment, installing dedicated dryers, and equipping canteen fume purification systems. These efforts comprehensively reduce air pollution and protect ambient air quality.
