Celebrating 40 Years of Tai Hing: A Cultural Journey in Beijing
As Tai Hing marks its 40th anniversary in 2025, we reflect on four decades of growth defined by people, purpose, and perseverance. Since day one, our philosophy has been simple yet powerful — put people first. From everyday team building and professional development to wellness support and open communication, we’ve always believed that a strong company begins with a strong sense of belonging.
To commemorate this milestone, our team came together for a five‑day journey to Beijing from November 2 to 6 — a trip that celebrated our shared achievements while reconnecting with the rich heritage that continues to inspire us. More than a company retreat, it was an experience that bridged cultures, linked past and future, and strengthened the sense of unity across our Hong Kong and Mainland teams.

Standing at Tiananmen Square beneath the morning sun, we watched the national flag rise — a moment that reminded us of progress, pride, and purpose. Walking through the Military Museum, we reflected on the spirit of innovation and resilience that has shaped the nation’s story — values that also define Tai Hing’s journey over four decades.

Rather than focusing on sightseeing, we immersed ourselves in Beijing’s living history — from the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven to the Summer Palace and Prince Gong’s Mansion. Each destination offered a quiet reminder of endurance, craftsmanship, and connection through time.

As evening fell, the Olympic Park came alive — the Bird’s Nest glowing in gold, the Water Cube shimmering blue. There was laughter, conversation, and a sense of shared optimism about what’s ahead for Tai Hing.

No visit to Beijing would be complete without the Great Wall. The climb at Badaling became a powerful metaphor: every step taken together reflected the teamwork and persistence that have carried Tai Hing through the years. Colleagues supported one another, whether sharing a backpack or a warm pack — small gestures that turned collaboration into something truly meaningful.

At the top, as we raised our flag and looked out across the horizon, we were reminded that endurance and unity aren’t just part of history — they’re at the heart of who we are.

Our final days in Shichahai and Qianmen Street gave us a taste of authentic Beijing life — local flavors, crafts, and the warmth of shared meals. These moments, simple yet genuine, became memories that will stay with us for years to come.
As the trip came to a close, we carried home more than photos — we brought back renewed energy, deeper trust, and stronger bonds. The 40th anniversary wasn’t just about looking back; it was about reaffirming what makes us who we are: a people‑focused culture built on integrity, connection, and continuous progress.

Looking ahead, Tai Hing will continue to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and inspired. With shared purpose and collective spirit, we’re ready for the next 40 years — together.
